- I can recommend a tool that I've been using for about two years now. It
- works with MS Windows and is called RFFlow 2.0. It uses a somewhat non-
- standard Windows interface concept, but adequately allows me to do all sorts
- of diagrams efficiently. Items 1-4 is handled with no problems except maybe
- clouds. It is easier to define 2 tool boxes (objects and commands) first
- before doing anything. Use the locked move command to move any objects around
- that are connected together. Item 5 is somewhat supported in the way you've
- described. I haven't tried this out yet. You can link an object to an
- application and a file. Clicking on this object starts up whatever application
- with whatever you want to display. I imagine this process to be fairly fast
- after you've opened up the initial application.
