  16. I guess you mean the slightly annoying bug of generating a
  17. full plot screen bounding box even though one has only
  18. used part of the plotting area, e.g.  subplot(211).

  20. Also, I'm sure the lines produced by 4.0a will always appear
  21. at the same places in the postscript plot as they did on
  22. the screen :-). Using  hold  and plotting a line whose
  23. endpoints are outside the plot performs correctly on screen
  24. but sometimes gives randomized postscript output.
