  12. Pardon me if I'm behind the times a bit here - I finally realized that
  13. we were using old versions of the ATK software on the 6000's - and made
  14. a new link so I could access the newer versions of the software (Gary's
  15. post about the help-links got me curious.)

  17. In general, I didn't see many changes (copyright in message-line) - but
  18. I didn't really expect to either since the "old" versions weren't too
  19. old.

  21. However I noticed one change which, silly though it may be, bothered me.
  22.  The way a line of text is shown as selected has changed:
  23. [An Andrew ToolKit view (a raster image) was included here, but could
  24. not be displayed.]("old" on bottom - "new" on top)

  26. Before you used to get a "clean" rectangular reverse-video box
  27. indicating the selection region - now you get a rectangle with a weird
  28. missing-piece at the beginning and an extra-piece at the end.  Clearly
  29. this "piece" is supposed to be the CRLF (or newline, whatever).

  31. Was this intentional?
  32. Is this really preferred?
  33. Is it necessary??
