- According to Lantronix, their unit really does RTEL, which can be made
- to appear to be LPD. The problem is that you must use Lantronix supplied
- software (not standard LPR software), and that software is only supported
- for Unix. Since we have DOS, Windows, OS/2 and VM/CMS Lantronix indicated
- that we were out of luck. They said that they would be providing true
- LPD support in 2Q93, but still only supported for Unix (since the
- microcode upload is only supported on Unix). Thanks for the reply, though!
