  13. I am having a problem getting my RPC service started using inetd.  I am working
  14. on a SparcStation 2 and using Sun's rpcgen to generate my client and server
  15. 'stubs'.  The RPC client and server work fine if I start the server up myself
  16. but when I try to start it using inetd, the client just returns without a
  17. message.  I have,
  18.     1. Used rpcgen with the -I option. (to enable inetd support)
  19.     2. Made an entry in the /etc/inetd.conf file for the service.
  20.     3. Made an entry in the /etc/rpc file for the service.
  21. Also, running rpcinfo shows the service listed as being a service known to
  22. the portmapper.
