- Hi, I have a slight headache...I am currently on a system (a Sequent machine
- running a SysV 3.2.1 variant), and the only protocol that will work is
- kermit! A large headache, considering a 3 meg file will take a long time to
- download...we also have xmodem/rz/sz, but these won't work. If I try to
- send with sz, my terminal at home will pick up some signal and wait, but
- that's as far as it gets. It eventually times out. Xmodem works
- similarly..the home terminal program will receive a file name of the
- incoming file, but that's it, it times out after a while.
-
- Can someone e-mail me some info about what makes kermit so special that it
- will work, while the others won't? I'm pretty ignorant about these
- protocols, except that I REALLY would like to get zmodem working...
-
- Any help would be greatly appreciated.
