  11. Hi, I have a slight headache...I am currently on a system (a Sequent machine
  12. running a SysV 3.2.1 variant), and the only protocol that will work is
  13. kermit!  A large headache, considering a 3 meg file will take a long time to
  14. download...we also have xmodem/rz/sz, but these won't work.  If I try to
  15. send with sz, my terminal at home will pick up some signal and wait, but
  16. that's as far as it gets.  It eventually times out.  Xmodem works
  17. similarly..the home terminal program will receive a file name of the
  18. incoming file, but that's it, it times out after a while.

  20. Can someone e-mail me some info about what makes kermit so special that it
  21. will work, while the others won't?  I'm pretty ignorant about these
  22. protocols, except that I REALLY would like to get zmodem working...
