  15. Two problems:

  17. 1. CAP, IRIX and EtherTalk phase 2
  18.  
  19. As far as I/we can tell, CAP server running under IRIX 4.0.5. can not be 
  20. configured to EtherTalk phase 2, we have had to put the server to phase 
  21. 1, which prevents us from fully benefitting from EtherTalk phase 2 
  22. possibilities.  Has anyone out there a CAP version for IRIX, which would 
  23. work under phase 2?

  25. 2. CAP and system 7 aliases

  27. I already know that CAP does not retain file ID's (as AppleShare volumes 
  28. should) and therefore aliases pointing to CAP folders/files from other 
  29. volumes (such as local Mac HD) do not work.  Is anyone working around 
  30. this or working on a fix and when might such a patch be available?  How 
  31. about commercial products - are they any better in this respect?
