  12. I urge those who are angered by this message to send mail to
  13. postmaster@access.digex.com. I have done so. It is a very
  14. serious matter.

  16. Please realize that he was making a COMMERCIAL ADVERTISEMENT,
  17. which is not permitted on the Internet in any case (because
  18. every site is charged to forward the ad, for the direct
  19. financial benefit of one selfish individual). Because of this
  20. we have a very strong case indeed against the poster.

  22. Had he announced the availability of the viruses for anonymous
  23. FTP on a machine he owned, or made them available by mail for
  24. copying costs only, I might feel slightly differently, as this
  25. would lie somewhere on the boundary between protection from
  26. bodily harm and censorship. But the commercial advertisement,
  27. being expressly forbidden on the Internet, is the last straw.
