  16. Actually, there is.  For about $35,000 you can buy a vax of your own,
  17. and you can call yourself anything you want.

  19. Somewhat less expensive options include asking the system manager.

  21. If this is a real problem for you, you might consider getting a mail
  22. account on another machine (there are some commercial services that do
  23. just that) and have that machine forward the mail to the name you don't
  24. like (presuming that the VMS host is the machine you prefer to use).
