  10. Folks,
  11.   If anybody's interested, I just ported and older version of the Jef
  12. Poskanzer Portable BitMap toolkit to OSK. It's uploaded to cabrales, in
  13. the incoming directory. If somebody's interested in porting the newer
  14. PbmPlus, that would be great. I don't have the hard drive space at the
  15. moment to do it, but it looks like it wouldn't be that much more
  16. difficult, just a matter of playing with the makefile.

  18. For those of you unfamiliar with PBM, it is a sort of go-between bitmap
  19. format that allows you to convert graphic files from one format to
  20. another fairly easily, as well as perform simple image processing (like
  21. scaling, cropping, hor/vert flipping, etc) on graphic images, using only
  22. command-line utilities. The original PBM toolkit only works on B/W
  23. images, but the newer PbmPlus does just about every graphic format
  24. you're likely to come in contact with, including 24-bit TIFF images.
  25. Maybe somebody else will be inspired to try porting pbmplus. :-)
