- I'm having trouble getting the DOS application in the emx\test sample programs
- to run. Make does fine but when I start a DOS session and try to run one of
- the programs I get the message "DPMI not supported". I have the line

- set EMX=$path/emx.exe

- in the autoexec.bat. Checking the settings notebook shows the DPMI setting
- to be on and 4M of memory allocated to DPMI. I scanned Brooke's manual and the
- developers guide but didn't see any clues. What am I missing. I remember
- the dos apps working with 0.8e but I don't have it on my system any more.
