  10. I'm having trouble getting the DOS application in the emx\test sample programs 
  11. to run.  Make does fine but when I start a DOS session and try to run one of
  12. the programs I get the message "DPMI not supported".  I have the line

  14. set EMX=$path/emx.exe
  15.  
  16. in the autoexec.bat.  Checking the settings notebook shows the DPMI setting
  17. to be on and 4M of memory allocated to DPMI.  I scanned Brooke's manual and the
  18. developers guide but didn't see any clues.  What am I missing.  I remember
  19. the dos apps working with 0.8e but I don't have it on my system any more.
