- After downloading the files for the OS2 2.1 beta, how does one install
- them without floppies? Or, if floppies are required, can I dispense
- with them after loading the files on the hard disk? I tried to change
- the mouse and it started asking for the floppies again. Is there some
- way to tell it to get its files from the hard disk and/or to just use
- the files it already has?

- Do I need the documentation from OS2 2.0 before I can get started with
- 2.1? This is the first time I've used OS2 so I'm not 100% sure I know
- what I'm doing. For example, when I tried clicking on the dual boot
- icon, it flashed a black window at me with a one line message at the
- top of it, for a fraction of a second. Each time I click on the dual
- boot, it does the same thing, so I can read the message by clicking
- repeatedly and reading one word each time it flashes that window. But
- unfortunately, I can't read the whole message that way, because it
- extends beyond the edge of the window, and the window doesn't stay up
- long enough to enlarge it.
