  14. Along the same topic, I have found several errors in the programming guide 
  15. and API reference sections of the "Technical Library", for which I paid 
  16. $299.  I wish IBM would provide the required update to this set in the form 
  17. of a (very inexpensive) CD, containing both INF and printable versions of 
  18. the manuals.

  20. By "printable", I mean "capable of printing manual sections, including 
  21. indexes, exactly as they appear in the latest paper text furnished by IBM". 
  22. Clearly, the VIEW system's very limited print support will not do the trick
  23. .

  25. This seems like a very reasonable request, to me.  I am also passing this 
  26. request to IBM's DAP, by paper mail (I don't use Compu$erve), since there 
  27. is no address for reporting errors given in the printed manuals.
