  22. NTS/2 works fine with ethernet - AS LONG AS you don't want to do what the
  23. original poster wants to.  Namely, the Virtual 802.2 emulation in the VDMs
  24. does not support ethernet flavored packet drivers.  Packet driver <->NDIS
  25. shims do not work either.  Only strict 802.2 applications are said to work
  26. with 802.2 in VDMs on ethernet, and I don't have any of these to test.  ALl
  27. I do know, is that the IBMTOKEN.COM packet driver, which is supposed to use
  28. the 802.2 interface, does not work on an ethernet equiped machine, though it
  29. appears to initialize properly.

  31. More than that, I do not know...   (All of this made my day after being told
  32. throughout development of NTS/2 that it would solve my problems with programs
  33. that require packet driver support.  :-( )
