  38. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I can tell you that a similar
  39. setup on our system works fine (for Quattro and WfW).  Here are some
  40. details from our setup.  We're running OS/2 2.0 + SP with TCP/IP
  41. including all the latest and greatest CSDs from hobbes.nmsu.edu.

  43. ON THE REMOTE MACHINE (without the printer attached):
  44.         The target printer is "hp3ps" on machine "fidder".
  45.         In \startup.cmd:
  46.                 start lprmon -b -php3ps -sfiddler lpt1
  47.         Printer icon settings:
  48.                 printer driver: PSCRIPT.HP Laserjet III v52_2
  49.                 job properties: default
  50.                 output: LPT1
  51.                 queue options: driver = PMPRINT; print-while-spooling = on
  52.                 print options: default
  53.         WinOS/2:
  54.                 ATM on (turned on and fonts installed from floppy disk)
  55.                 control panel, printers, Use print manager = off;
  56.                         appropriate printer drivers installed and active
  57. ON THE MACHINE WITH THE PRINTER ATTACHED:
  58.         Pretty much the same setup, except that the printer icon
  59.               has "printer specific format" turned on (is this needed?
