- I installed TCP/IP vers. 1.2.1 on my IBM Model 90 running
- OS/2 2.0 with no problems (thanks to Dean Pentcheff's notes).
- I added "RUN=C:\TCPIP\BIN\LPRMON.EXE -b lpt1" to my config.sys file
- to enable remote printing through a unix host. I setup the OS/2
- Print Manager to print through lpt1: using an Apple NTX print
- driver. The Printer-specific format is selected in the PMPRINT
- queue driver settings.
-
- Everything works fine when printing from DOS applications (Quatro Pro 3.0)
- with a postscript print driver thru lpt1:. However, when printing
- from Word-for-Windows, I get a text image of the postscript file.
-
- I checked the 2.0 FAQ file as well as old postings for hints. I
- tried disabling the WinOs/2 print manager by removing !printman
- from the MAVDMapps line in the windows sys.ini file.
-
- Any help would be appreciated.
