- OS/2 2.0 uses Adobe type One fonts, using *.PFB and *.AFM files. Windows,
- using Adobe type One fonts, uses *.PFB and *.PFM files. From this
- standpoint (AFM vs. PFM), they are "incompatible". HOWEVER, there is a
- utility called PFM2AFM.EXE which will build mostly-complete AFM files from
- the PFM files. These will work in OS/2. You can also get the AFM files
- from the mail server at adobe.com (You still have to BUY the PFB files, but
- Windows ones are the same as OS/2 ones).
