- Does anyone out there have any idea about under what circumstances a
- program's action will show up in the Workplace Shell? I've noticed that
- some file-manipulation programs will result in a change in the contents
- of WPS windows -- e.g. InfoZip's UNZIP causes unzipped files to appear
- (eventually); other programs (e.g. the version of compress that I'm
- currently using) will cause deleted files (e.g. the .Z files) to
- disappear, but won't result in the appearance of new file icons.
- (Another example of the same is Timothy Sipples' AddIcon: changes don't
- show up until reboot, most of the time: merely asking for a refresh of
- the window from the WPS pop-up menu won't help at all.)
