  19. I know of no products, but...

  21. 1) You'd need a 68000 processor card to do this, since Mac programs
  22.    run on one, and even a 486 would have a hard time emulating it.

  24. 2) You'd need a set of ROMs (or disk images) to provide the Mac's
  25.    Toolbox functions.  Real Mac ROMs wouldn't work, since they'd have
  26.    to re-map their functions into something OS/2 could trap and use -
  27.    otherwise, the board would need it's own memory and video circuits,
  28.    and putting the Mac session in a window would be tricky, at best.
  29.    Then again, maybe OS/2 could virtualize the Mac's display as well
  30.    as it's own...

  32. 3) IBM's can read Mac 1.44MB format diskettes with software alone.
  33.    The Mac's 800K format, however, is unique, and would require extra
  34.    hardware to get a PC to read them.  At one point, Central Point
  35.    software made a "Copy II PC option card" which would replace your
  36.    floppy controller and (among other things) let you read Mac disks.
