  12. I just bought a 1.2gig SCSI drive and Adaptec controller.  I also have
  13. a NEC CDR84 CD-ROM drive.

  15. I would like to get all these working with minimum hassle.  However, when
  16. I add "BASEDEV=154X.ADD" to config.sys, I can no longer boot OS/2.  Inspection
  17. seems to indicate that the SCSI drive (which has an already formatted DOS
  18. partition on it) is being "inserted" before my OS/2 partition, causing the
  19. drive letter to get changed.  Now, I could boot from floppy, edit my config.sys
  20. to reflect the new drive letter, and then things should work, right?  But
  21. is there an easier way?  I'd like to put the scsi drives at any arbitrary
  22. drive letter.
