- Somehow, my startup folder has convinced itself that it is a desktop - the
- pop-up for it lists "Shut down" as an option. The object appears to be
- pointing correctly at the startup directory, but I can't get rid of it and
- for that matter am a bit leery about just booting from disk and frying it
- manually.
