- Well, the applets can go (\OS2\APPS), if you like. So can the
- optional bitmaps (\OS2\BITMAP), the Tutorial, online documentation you
- don't need, Win-OS/2 (if you don't use it), utilities you don't use
- (like TREE or QBASIC), and a few other odds and ends.

- More RAM (and not necessarily more CPU) will help OS/2 immensely, so,
- if you are considering an upgrade, concentrate your efforts there
- first.

- You can run without the Workplace Shell and use a "lighter," alternate
- shell. I suggest Mr. File/PM (filename mrfilepm.zip, available via
- anonymous ftp from ftp-os2.nmsu.edu; see /pub/os2/00Index for
- location). See the OS/2 FAQ List for some other tips.
