- Why bother??? The number is not an 800 number so I would have to pay for
- it and MS is not going to start developing for OS/2 just because a bunch
- of people call. Lets face it, MS is trying to use the popularity of their
- applications to stifle OS/2.
-
- If OS/2 supporters really want to help OS/2, BUY OS/2 APPLICATIONS. Don't
- use Windows applications under WinOS2. If vendor see that writing
- applications for OS/2 is profitable, more vendors will develop for OS/2.
- Microsoft because an application powerhouse because they were the only
- company developing for Windows. (Remember, MS and IBM told the world that
- Windows was temporary and OS/2 was the long-term direction). By the time
- other companies came out with Windows applications, MS had a very large and
- firm marketshare. If MS is slow in getting out OS/2 apps, they won't have
- a large presense in the OS/2 market and that will be Microsoft's loss.
