  20. requires that the window with focus be on top.  What I (and I think
  21. Mr. Unruh) would like is the ability to have the window with focus
  22. remain beneath other windows.

  24. I know OS/2 can do this to some extent ... if I put TE/2 or QPRO/DOS
  25. partially under another window, and there's data coming in, it can
  26. deal quite happily with being partially obscured.

  28. Motif, as an X window manager, allows you to choose either
  29. click-to-focus, follow-mouse-focus, or
  30. follow-mouse-and-bring-to-top-focus.  PM behaves as the first, 'xfeel'
  31. behaves as the last; I would like a way to do the middle.  If IBM
  32. could build this option into PM, it would be great.  If someone could
  33. implement it as an add-on, however, I'd still be happy.
