- I just upgraded my motherboard from a AMI 386SX-35 to a AMI 486DX-33, and have
- not been able to get OS/2 to boot since the swap. I think it's some kind of
- protected mode error, but being your average uninformed bonehead, I can only
- guess. The OS/2 error message gives a TRAP 0002 error, saying there is an
- internal processing error at:
-
- ##0160:fff6453f - 000d:a53f
- 60000,9084

- What this garbage means is beyond me...

- The reason I seem to think it is some kind of prot. mode error is the failure
- of the system to boot under DOS with QEMM in the config. It also gives some
- kind of error, asks to (T)erminate or (R)eboot, then locks up. EMM386.EXE in
- DOS works fine, tho. Should I change any of the BIOS setting to facilitate
- installation of OS/2, which I tried to reinstall w/out luck so far (it locks up
- with the same error after disk 10 or so).

- Any of you gurus have any ideas? Sipples, I'm waiting to hear from you <G>.
