- I picked this up off of Fidonet:
-
- ---------------------------------------------------------------
- Well, got to sit through a Microsoft presentation this weekend.
-
- Even won a piece of their software.
-
- But, I picked up some trivia that put an idea in my head. They
- informed the audience proudly that they have a "Wish" line for
- customers. A phone number a user could call and request certain
- features in a software product. And they proudly announced that many
- of the features in Excel 4.0 were the result of this "wish" line.
-
- Well, being the fan of OS/2 that I am, I got a devious smile ... if
- they listen to their wishes ... well, why don't we all call Billy G.'s
- company and send them a "wish" message -- develop and upgrade their
- OS/2 applications.
-
- And I do mean -- flood their message bank to let them know of the
- interest. Request the WPS for Windows program manager, etc. Whatta
- ya think? I'd love to see a frustrated operator have to tally all the
- OS/2 calls and present a report to an executive there <G>.
-
- And the "Wish Line" at Microsoft is:::::::::::>>>>>>
-
- (206) 936-WISH
-
- Give'em a dial.
-
- Cheers.
