- I just got a sample copy of their publication (June 1992) and I find
- it good. Topics discussed:
- a) Setting notebooks, b) What is a shadow? c) OS/2 for lefthanded
- d) Using Novell Netware with OS/2 e) Loading Windoze apps faster
- f) The many ways to drag an icon.
-
- Topic d) is, IMHO, comprehensive in just three pages.
-
- The "Welcome to Inside OS/2" by the editor is thruthful.
-
- "...it's clear that DOS just won't cut the mustard anymore. After all,
- DOS was originally designed to run on PCs built in 1982, not 1992.
- Equipping a powerful 386- or 486-based PC with a decade old operating
- system is like putting a Model T Ford engine in a Lamborghini."
-
- "When IBM released OS/2 2.0 this spring, they finally provided us
- with an operating system for the '90s."
-
- There is also a glossary at the back.
