  20. Beta distributions are not for "Production Version" use - they are for people
  21. who have the time and inclination to thrash the program (olr in this case OS)
  22. around, locate and report bugs.

  24. So many people on this group are winging about the supposedly "poor perfomance
  25. /stability" of this release.

  27. Now, if you want to spend some time playing, and risk not having a stable system
  28. then go ahead - install the beta. If you want stable code, then you would be
  29. very well advised to stear clear of betas, and wait for the GA.

  31. Personally I enjoy beating OS's about, and so far I've been impressed by the 
  32. 2.1b release, despite it's little quirks.
