- I have a Gateway 2000 486/33 (8megs, SCSI drive), ATI Ultra Pro with
- 1572FS monitor; I installed the 8514/A drivers, which seem to work well
- with full-screen Windows. If I try to run migrated Windows programs
- however I find I cannot cntrl-escape back to the desktop and then back to
- the windows program again: the screen stays black, no mouse; I can escape
- to the desktop and kill it, however.
- The same programs run perfectly from a full-screen Winos2 desktop,
- however, and I find I can go back and forth to the OS2 desktop from
- there with no problem, so using that as a workaround is one solution.
- I also can only intermittently use a full-screen DOS window; at first
- it comes up properly (CTRL-ESCAPE banner across the top, etc), but on
- further invocations, I lose sync whenever trying to get another such
- window. Again, one can CTRL-ESCAPE out of it, so no big problem.
- Am I missing something, or do others have similar problems. Obviously,
- real seamless drivers would be much nicer.
