  16. 10.  An option (a switch) to allow making windows active WITHOUT bringing
  17. them into focus (that is, without redrawing the entire window)?  Often
  18. seeing just a part of the active window is all I need.

  20. 11.  A shutdown with just one prompt.  I am looking for a way to avoid
  21. getting prompts from all the running applications and telling each one that
  22. yes, I want its window closed.  Or perhaps there is a way to do this and I
  23. should read manuals?
