  29. The click is fine -- monitors are supposed to do that.  If they
  30. didn't, then you should worry.  :-)

  32. Good idea, naturally, but then you run into the problem of losing
  33. "generic" support for all those SuperVGA adapters.  You can optimize
  34. for one, but then you won't necessarily benefit Trident.

  36. I think a useful approach would be for IBM to write 800x600 16 color
  37. and 1024x768 16 color "generic" drivers as well.  (Actually, the
  38. 800x600 is already available -- Joel Armengaud wrote that.)
