  21. I like the NEC CDR-25 for a low end solution.  It is an external drive
  22. (so you can also use it with your notebook, now or in the future),
  23. standard SCSI, mid level performance (650 ms average access), and has
  24. a good, two year warranty.  I've been told it works fine under OS/2
  25. for data retrieval, at least.  (I haven't confirmed yet that it works
  26. with audio CDs under OS/2.)

  28. You can get the CDR-25, with Trantor 8-bit adapter (remember: you'll
  29. need a free, lower interrupt; or you can simply discard this adapter
  30. if you already have an OS/2-supported SCSI adapter) from Tiger
  31. Software (800-888-4437 or 305-443-8212).  The price is $299 (plus
  32. shipping), and the order number is XAG N27-250.

  34. The Trantor OS/2 drivers are available in file trntradd.zip, available
  35. via anonymous ftp from ftp-os2.nmsu.edu.  Check file /pub/os2/00Index
  36. for location.

  39. file os2cdrom.zip (from the same ftp site).
