- If you have plenty of time, you can think of writing a virtual device
- driver which emulates the AHA1542 hardware. Or you could write a DOS
- ASPI module, which interfaces to the OS/2 ASPI module.

- But until now, noone seems to have written such stuff, so there is no
- ASPI in the DOS box today. And since SCSI backup programs in the DOS
- box need some way to interface to the SCSI controller, there is no SCSI
- backup in the DOS box possible - except when the SCSI controller is not
- used by OS/2.

- So if you absolutely need your backup program in the DOS box, buy a
- second SCSI adapter (but *not* a bus-master adapter!), do not install
- it as OS/2 device and run your DOS ASPI for this adapter in the DOS
- box.
