- Bring up the Window List (CTRL-ESC), click on the Desktop entry with
- mouse button two, then select Open -> (your preferred view). You can
- keep this view on the desktop -- or even maximize it -- when you
- shutdown. Unless you've disabled automatic application restart, it
- will come back up when you restart.
