  12. Thanks for your advice. I actually do have fonts installed (I had them
  13. before when running GA+SP), that's not the reason.

  15. I know that it generally isn't recommended to install Beta's over existing
  16. installations, but what shall I do if I didnt' have the space (and time)
  17. to do a complete reinstall.

  19. The suggestion to reinstall WinOS/2 was already brought to me, and I 
  20. did it twice, to no avail. When installing there are 2 times, when the
  21. installation program failes with error YNARI (if I remember correctly),
  22. looking at the installation log file at that time reveals problems
  23. installing \os2\dll\wincfg.dll and another dll also with "win" in it's
  24. name. A retry does the thing (at least the installation continues).
  25. I suspect that this error could have something to do with the ATM
  26. symptom.

  28. Btw. I installed the Beta on another machine from ground zero, ATM
  29. there works like a champ.

  31. If I didn't find a solution in the next days, I will have to do the
  32. complete installation :-<.
