  29.   I installed the speaker driver under Win-OS2 3.1 (which I installed on
  30.   a Service-Pack'd system) and it did play, albeit pitifully.   I ended
  31.   up removing it.   The sound was very scratchy, I think because when OS/2
  32.   dispatched another task, the speaker went off.   And sometimes it would
  33.   take a long time to play the "ta-da".
