  40. I can confirm that Norton Speed Disk is safe (use the version
  41. from NDW 2 or 
  42. NU 6); out of interest I marked all of OS/2s
  43. system/hidden/read only files as
  44. moveable, Speedisk defragged these too, again with no
  45. problem. It is also
  46. beneficial to delete swapper.dat and run chkdsk /f  before
  47. defragging.
