I'll follow my own post here (I've noticed other similar posts) --- I
installed the MS-Win 3.1 drivers, and it *seems* to be printing like a charm
in my windows apps.  Specifically, copy the following MS-Win 3.1 files to
\os2\mdos\winos2\system:

   FINSTALL.DLL / FINSTALL.HLP / HPPCL5A.DRV / HPPCL5A.HLP / HPPCL5OP.HLP

(to be honest, I'm not certain which of these files are needed, but I copied
all 5, and it seems ok) -- you will have to "expand" the HPPCL5A.DRV and
HPPCL5A.HLP files (expand.exe is on the MS-Win install disk).
