  10. I just installed the OS/2 2.1 beta over a pre-installed 2.01 system (on a 
  11. ValuePoint 433DX).  Everything seems more or less okay EXCEPT that now,
  12. drop-down menus and some dialog boxes don't go away when they should.  
  13. By that I mean that, though the boxes/menus DO close, the underlying window(s)
  14. (including the desktop) don't repaint themselves.  This leaves junk all over
  15. the screen obscuring stuff.  I can clean up by a "right click" on the desktop
  16. and choosing "refresh now", but this is a pain in the butt, to say the least.

  18. Has anyone else seen this?  More importantly, is there something I can do about
  19. it?.

  21. BTW, I'm running at 640x480x256 with the built-in ET4000.
