- I just installed the OS/2 2.1 beta over a pre-installed 2.01 system (on a
- ValuePoint 433DX). Everything seems more or less okay EXCEPT that now,
- drop-down menus and some dialog boxes don't go away when they should.
- By that I mean that, though the boxes/menus DO close, the underlying window(s)
- (including the desktop) don't repaint themselves. This leaves junk all over
- the screen obscuring stuff. I can clean up by a "right click" on the desktop
- and choosing "refresh now", but this is a pain in the butt, to say the least.
-
- Has anyone else seen this? More importantly, is there something I can do about
- it?.
-
- BTW, I'm running at 640x480x256 with the built-in ET4000.
