  35. This really is a sad statement about Ati and/or IBM's assistance to
  36. developers.  And the contrast is striking: I installed Windows NT the
  37. other evening and all went well, though, as with my OS/2 experience, I
  38. was stuck in plain vanilla VGA mode.  I went looking for ATI NT drivers
  39. on Compuserve, hoping, at least, to find something and lo! there were
  40. new beta drivers for ATI boards using either the Mach32 or Mach8
  41. chipsets for NT (they were the sixth iteration of drivers).  They work
  42. fine on my system (though NT is, um, rather slow).

  44. Even though I currently use Windows/DOS and have started to experiment
  45. with NT, I would like to think that I'd be able to have drivers for my
  46. video card when I try OS/2 2.1.  It sure looks like I won't.  Somebody,
  47. perhaps IBM, ought to do it!
