- I did some research on this. If you join the os/2 dev. program you get a
- cd-rom disk and a certificate for a cd rom from some company (i dont remembr)
- right now. With it you can get an external cd-rom drive(toshiba 3101 or
- something like that) for 450 I think. The scsi controller card was 100
- or 250 depending on 8 or 16 bit card (Future domains 850 vs 1650 I think).
- But, for 50 more yo could get the toshiba 3401 which features doublespeed.

- This is at least 200 cheaper than the same dirve via mail-order ads I looked
- at. The 3401 is a 800 dollar drive.
