  14. I just installed a new 2mb ISA ATI graphics ultra plus in my 16mb
  15. 486dx/50 w/ 2.1beta.  It seems to work well.  I have it installed as a
  16. VGAWonder at 1024x768.  Speed isn't impressive but I thought I'd try it
  17. this way for a while (it is the scrolling that is slow).  I especially
  18. like that I can in principle do seamless Windows--the tradeoff being
  19. the acceleration of the 8514a.

  21. My question involves setting up WinOS2.  My impression is that as long
  22. as my WinOS2 sessions are full screen, I can use the Windows drivers
  23. and therefore get some of the benefits of the native hardware--as long
  24. as I stay fullscreen.  Is that correct?  If so, has anyone tried ATI's
  25. beta Windows drivers?

  27. And if I go back to 8514a, can I also use ATI's Windows drivers (that
  28. is, use the card's mach32 hardware as long as I'm in WinOS2?
