  37. ????? I have had Excel 3.0 for OS/2 running for a long time (I have
  38. removed it now, I do not support MS anymore). And 1-2-3 has been
  39. around for a long time too. Currently you have to use version 1.1, but
  40. version 2.0 will be out in a few weeks.

  44. I think Corel Draw is available for OS/2.

  46.    Also, there are no drivers for my video card out for OS/2 (Diamond Stealth

  49.    Now, give me a good reason to load up an OS that will eat up 25% of my HD
  50.    space and give me nothing more than SLOOOOWW but protected (not even that
  51.    at 100%) multitasking of the software I already multitask under DOS/Windows.

  53.    Now, I do realize all the advantages of OS/2 but while there is no
  54.    software that is written for it, I have to (with great sorrow) conclude
  55.    that for me it is dead...

  57. You may still have to wait a few weeks or months for your favourite
  58. word processor. But when you have OS/2 2.1 and your word processor, I
  59. do not see any reasons for not giving OS/2 another try. You will still
  60. miss a DTP program. But OS/2 2.1 is reported to run Win 3.1 programs
  61. just as fast (or even faster) thatn native Win 3.1. So your Windows
  62. version of PageMaker will not run any better under Win 3.1.

  65.    Win NT is already promises lots of Apps, but it is WAY too much of a hog
  66.    (and who knows if they come through on those promises). So whats left out
  67.    there OS-wise to chose from ? Can you say "DOS/Windows" ???? Sad, isnt it?
