- I had this problem. When you did the selective install, did you get one of
- those 'An error occurred while copying a file Y N A R I Do you want to retry ?'
- messages. What seems to happen is that some of the .DLL's that Selective Install
- wants to overwrite are 'locked' by OS/2. This is presumably because the DLL
- is in use by Win-OS/2 2.0. Unfortunately, if an error occurs during the install
- the system config is not updated (ie. Win-OS/2 2.1 will not be enabled). It
- says something about this in the on line help.

- The thing to do is to note down the names of the files which don't get copied.
- Boot from a floppy, and delete the .DLL's which could not be overwritten.
- Now reboot and try Selective Install. Everything should proceed without errors,
- and Win-OS/2 should work.
