  25. I had this problem. When you did the selective install, did you get one of
  26. those 'An error occurred while copying a file Y N A R I Do you want to retry ?'
  27. messages. What seems to happen is that some of the .DLL's that Selective Install
  28. wants to overwrite are 'locked' by OS/2. This is presumably because the DLL
  29. is in use by Win-OS/2 2.0. Unfortunately, if an error occurs during the install
  30. the system config is not updated (ie. Win-OS/2 2.1 will not be enabled). It 
  31. says something about this in the on line help.

  33. The thing to do is to note down the names of the files which don't get copied.
  34. Boot from a floppy, and delete the .DLL's which could not be overwritten.
  35. Now reboot and try Selective Install. Everything should proceed without errors,
  36. and Win-OS/2 should work.
