- I recently talked to a person at Macsyma and was treated to a tirade
- about OS/2 2.1's Windows 3.1 emulation. He said he had the 2.1 beta
- and that it wouldn't run the most recent version of Macsyma and they
- hadn't been able to figure out why. He went on to say that IBM was
- sleazy for stating that OS/2 2.1 would run Win3.1 applications, etc.
-
- Does anyone has experience running or trying to run Macsyma with OS/2
- 2.1? I'm not looking to start a thread of, ``OS/2 2.1 runs almost all
- Win3.1 software.'' If I had, I would have posted elsewhere. Feel free
- to bring this up in C.O.O.A though. :) Anyway, I'm really looking for
- information. The guy I talked to seemed pretty biased so I have to
- wonder how much they've really tried to get Macsyma working (of course
- it _is_ their product so I may be off base).
