  12. I recently talked to a person at Macsyma and was treated to a tirade
  13. about OS/2 2.1's Windows 3.1 emulation. He said he had the 2.1 beta
  14. and that it wouldn't run the most recent version of Macsyma and they
  15. hadn't been able to figure out why. He went on to say that IBM was
  16. sleazy for stating that OS/2 2.1 would run Win3.1 applications, etc.

  18. Does anyone has experience running or trying to run Macsyma with OS/2
  19. 2.1? I'm not looking to start a thread of, ``OS/2 2.1 runs almost all
  20. Win3.1 software.'' If I had, I would have posted elsewhere. Feel free
  21. to bring this up in C.O.O.A though. :)  Anyway, I'm really looking for
  22. information. The guy I talked to seemed pretty biased so I have to
  23. wonder how much they've really tried to get Macsyma working (of course
  24. it _is_ their product so I may be off base).
