- Ahh, to be able to post again.
-
- Anyway, I have GTAK, an AHA-1520 SCSI card and an Exabyte 8500 tape
- drive. When I try to do a tar on my D: drive (~120 MB), my system
- hangs* partway through. Has anyone else experienced this? I am
- running WPS and everything else normally and hope to set the backup,
- with Cron, to run in the middle of the night, but I can't if this
- keeps happening.
-
- *The interesting thing about this hang is that the mouse pointer still
- reacts, but I am unable to type into any window or do anything. I am
- running OS/2 2.0+GP. Does this have something to do with the backing
- up of active system files?
