  11. I need some help.  I'm trying to install the 2.1 beta, and having very
  12. little luck.  I get through the actual install with no problem.  I just
  13. can't start the system.  Whenever I boot, everything proceeds as normal
  14. until PM starts.  I get a blank screen with the "wait" cursor.  The disk
  15. thrashes like mad for a few seconds, then everything stops.  The cursor
  16. still tracks the mouse, but nothing else happenes.  No disk activity.  No
  17. response from the keyboard.  All that works is the BRS.  Do I have bad
  18. images?  Flakey hardware?  In case it helps, I'm running an IBM PS/2 mod 80
  19. with 12 MB, 2 70Meg ESDI drives, IBM SCSI adaptor with a Toshiba 3100 CD-ROM,
  20. IBM 3270 card, IBM Dual Async card, IBM Token ring card, and IBM 8514/A.
  21. I've pulled all the extraneous cards  (T/R, 3270, SCSI) to no effect.
  22. Any ideas?
