  13. I need to program a combo box object which must contain a lot of list items.
  14. To be exact I want to store approx 12000 street names (average length ~20
  15. chars) in a combo box. Unfortunately I have only been able to store approx
  16. half the streets I need to. I am using Turbo C++ but only using the C
  17. language.

  19. Someone I work with here vaguely remembers a discussion taking place on this
  20. subject in the old programmer newsgroup late last year. Could someone post or
  21. email me what the outcome of this discussion was or give me some indication
  22. how to overcome the combobox limit I am encountering.
