- Does anyone here know about sound programming in windows 3.1. I looked in my
- Turbo c++ for win 3.1 help file about functions such as StartSound() and
- StopSound(), but it says that these are now obsolete and I should use the
- multimedia functions. Furhtermore, if I use the old functions mentioned above,
- the sound comes through the pc speaker and not the sound board (sound blaster).
- I thought the device independance of windows should make for easy music on the
- sound board, but I just can't find any information on it. By the way, the
- borland manuals that came with c++ are now good in this respect. Thanks
