- No, this isn't about Turbo Debugger 3.1 choking on 8514/a adapters
- in 1024X768 mode. It's yet another annoyance.
-
- I decided that I wanted TD in 43/50 line mode, so I set it in
- the configuration file. Right after I chose it, the mode changed
- and everything was fine.
-
- I leave TD and come back to it so that it tries to set the video mode
- from the configuration file and I get weirdness. The window on the
- screen *thinks* it's in 43/50, and sizes itself accordingly. Unfortunately
- my display is in a 25-line mode. So the cursor happily wanders south to
- somewhere near my contrast dial, well out of sight. I go back, select
- 25 line mode from the menu, and then select 43/50, and voila, the video
- mode changes correctly.
-
- Things work just fine at home on my Tseng 4000, btw. I'm hoping someone
- on the net might have discovered a solution, since the Borland Tech Support
- guy grumbled at me and said he'd report it, but something makes me
- skeptical. (Okay, I'll cut him some slack. It -was- before 7:30am in
- Scotts Valley when I called). But he didn't take any info. If
- there is a solution, I won't get it from them without another call.
-
- Any information would be appreciated.
